WORSHIP AT PEACHTREE
We are open for worship in person at both 9 and 11 am. No sign up is required. Childcare and classes for children are available on the 2nd floor (turn right out of elevator). Elementary age children are invited to join the Children’s Worship Experience in the chapel at 11:30am (they may exit the sanctuary if not already with the group at 11am). You can join us online at 11 am.
Our 9 am service is in the Chapel. It includes reading and reflecting on the week’s scriptures and receiving Holy Communion.
Our 11 am service in Peachtree’s historic Sanctuary features a full liturgy, music led by choir and organ, and guest classical musicians.

What is respite care ?
Respite is a short period of rest or relief from something that may be difficult. The Legacy Club provides respite for caregivers and their loved ones, who need support as they navigate challenging seasons of life. As an act of love and service to our Atlanta community, Peachtree Christian Church is opening The Legacy Club: A Community Respite for adults. Although we will primarily serve individuals with dementia, we also welcome individuals experiencing other cognitive challenges including Parkinson's, stroke, and special needs. The Legacy Club at Peachtree provides caregivers with free time to attend to their own needs while providing their loved ones with joy, enrichment, dignity, and purpose!
Care for the caregiver ?
Caring for a family member or loved one is gratifying, but can also be challenging. We know caregivers want what's best for their loved ones, often at the expense of their own mental and physical health. The Legacy Club respite ministry provides the caregiver with the gift of free time. Respite provides caregivers with support including resources and relationships with other caregivers. Caregivers enjoy peace of mind knowing their loved ones are being cared for in a safe and kind environment.
Inclement Weather Policy ?
When weather conditions are adverse during the weekend, a decision will be made by 7:00 AM Sunday about implementing the Sunday Inclement Weather Policy. If implemented, there will be no Elder’s Breakfast, Sunday School classes or Children’s classes, and there will be only one morning worship service at 11:00 AM. Our sidewalks and parking lots will be treated for those who can make it to the church. Inclement Weather Policy is implemented, an announcement will be posted on our website, social media accounts and will be e-mailed. For the most up-to-date and detailed information, please check the church website. When Atlanta Public Schools are closed, or when Atlanta Public Schools have cancelled afternoon/evening activities, due to inclement weather there will be no Wednesday Night Activities and our church offices will be closed.
